Katherine Poser

Katherine “Katie” Poser is Academic Coordinator of the Critical Care Post Graduate Program, for the School of Nursing and Allied Health, Loyalist College. Prior to which, Katie served as Associate Dean of Specialty Programs for the School of Health and Wellness at St. Lawrence College. She taught for many years in the BScN program with a focus on medical-surgical and critical care nursing as well as pharmacology. Her research interests relate to bridging the gap between theory and practice for interprofessional health care providers through continuing education, humanization and empathy in critical care. Passionate about clinical practice, Katie works as a critical care nurse at Kingston Health Sciences in the intensive care unit.
