Kenneth A. Eaton

Professor Eaton is currently a Visiting Professor at University College London and an Honorary Professor at the University of Kent. From 1997 - 2002, he was the Director of the National Centre for the Continuing Professional Education of Dentists. He is listed by the General Dental Council as a specialist in both Periodontology and Dental Public Health. He is currently on the editorial board of a number of journals and is the Chairman of the British Dental Editors and Writers Forum. He is a past member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Dental Research and President of the Education Research Group of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR). In July 2008 he became the first President of the newly created IADR Network for Practice-based Research. He was elected as President of the European Association of Dental Public Health. In September 2010 and was the first Chair of the Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe. He has produced over 370 publications, many on different aspects of periodontology, and since 2017 has registered 231 reviews with Publons.
