Meenakshi Dhanawat

Dr Meenakshi Dhanawat, is currently working as Associate Professor in Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Haryana. She has a background in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Medicinal Chemistry. She has done Masters from NIPER, Mohali and the project was based on Glycosylamino acids. Her PhD is from IIT-BHU, Varanasi and she worked on CNS drug delivery targeting 5HT1A/2A receptor. Apart from that she has a vast experience in the extraction of herbal drugs. Area of interest are Synthetic Chemistry, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Drug Delivery, Prodrug and Co-Drug Drug Design Complexation, Polymer Chemistry, and their application in drug delivery.

She has 17 years of teaching and research experience. She has attended several national and international conferences in india and abroad the recipient of the travelship award in DDD section of AAPS-2010, National Biotechnology Conference, California, USA. She has been able to grab the international travel grant from DBT and DST for attending the International Conference at California, USA and Munich, Germany Respectively. She has also grabbed many other fellowships awards, which includes Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship. Dr Shikha Baghel Chauhan is working as Associate Professor in Department of Industrial Pharmacy, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She has over 2 decades of experience in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Amity University, Noida. She is the founder of the popular pharmacy YouTube channel ‘Pharmacypedia’. She has published 52 research papers in various international and national journals and has served as the editor of two books with international publishers. She has been granted two patents and has authored nine books with different national and international publishers. Additionally, she has written over 15 book chapters for many prestigious publishers. Indu Singh

Dr. Indu Singh is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Centre of Pharmaceutics, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow.

She has over nine years of post-PhD teaching experience and holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.), Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics. She completed her Ph.D. at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, under the Government of India, in the area of Nanomedicines specifically on bioconjugated nanotherapeutics for tumor targeting.

A gold medalist in both her B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. programs, Dr. Singh was awarded the GATE and GPAT scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) for her M. Pharm. and the Research Fellowship from the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India for her Ph.D. studies. She is a registered pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of India through the Uttar Pradesh Pharmacy Council, Lucknow.

In 2015, she qualified the Women Scientist-C (WOS-C) examination (KIRAN-IPR) conducted by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi. She also received the Young Scientist International Travel Grant from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India, to attend the 6th International Conference on Nanomaterials-Research & Application (NANOCON-2014) held in Brno, Czech Republic (EU).

Dr. Singh has received numerous awards for her oral and poster presentations at various national and international conferences. She has published over 70 research papers in reputed international journals with high impact factors, authored 20 book chapters, and written four Scopus-indexed books. Additionally, she has filed four patents, with one patent already granted to her credit. She was the invited speaker for IBRO-APRC Associate School in November 2022.

Dr. Niraj Kumar Jha is an Assistant Professor of Biotechnology at Galgotias University, India, with prior research affiliations at the Centre for Research Impact & Outcome (CRIO), Chitkara University, and Sharda University. He is an elected Member of the Royal Society of Biology (MRSB), London, and has been recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in rankings compiled by Elsevier in collaboration with Stanford University. Dr. Jha actively contributes to scientific publishing and peer review as an associate editor for the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease (IOS Press) and IET Nanobiotechnology (Wiley) and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, including Scientific Reports. His research is centered on elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying complex diseases such as neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and cardiovascular pathologies. His work particularly emphasizes the modulation of key signaling pathways and explores the therapeutic potential of natural products, phytochemicals, and synthetic small molecules in disease intervention.
