With many specialty textbooks dealing with specific livestock breeds (covering surgery and basic medicine), it is nice to see a book that looks at farm animal surgery as a process. The book is designed to review surgery techniques useful in farm animals (cattle, swine, sheep, and goats). Each chapter in this book provides a detailed review but concludes with a bibliography which will provide readers with more than enough material to pursue further study."
