The Encyclopedia of Tribology and Lubrication, Three Volume Set, is intended to be a structured resource to guide users through proven strategies to reduce erosion friction, abrasion wear, and surface damage, while also providing fundamental principles that underlie the problems and mitigation. Data and case studies will highlight the rationale for selecting materials, lubricants, and operating conditions as well as how to apply wear and friction measurements. Standard test methods and supporting techniques, like hardness and surface roughness measuring methodology is also discussed in detail.
