Arturo Jiménez-Gutiérrez
Arturo Jiménez-Gutiérrez is a Professor of the Chemical Engineering Department at the Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya, México. He is member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Engineering in México. He has extensive experience in both teaching and research of distillation processes. Since 1984, he has been Summer Visiting Professor at the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from which he holds a recognition as Honorary Fellow. He received an award for Academic Achievements from the Association of Engineering Faculties in México. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Computers and Chemical Engineering, and was distinguished as an Emeritus National Investigator, the highest distinction given by the Mexican government through the National System of Investigators. He has published two books and more than 170 scientific papers.
