Sapana Jadoun
Dr. Sapana Jadoun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Universidad de Tarapacá, Arica, Chile, and a member of the PhD Academic Program Committee (CAP). She completed her postdoctoral research at Universidad de Concepción, Chile. She obtained her PhD in Materials Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, India (2019), and holds an MSc in Organic Chemistry from the University of Rajasthan.
Dr. Jadoun has secured competitive funding, including ANID Regular, FONDECYT (assimilation), UTA Mayor, and ANID Postdoctoral grants. She has been recognized among the world’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford-Elsevier (2023–2025) and received the Best Scientist of the Year award (Scientific Laurels, 2025). She is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC) and actively contributes as an editor and reviewer for leading international journals. With over a decade of research and teaching experience, she has authored more than 150 publications, including journal articles, books, book chapters, and patents, with over 5000 citations. Her research group, Sol-ARIS (Solar Energy and Advanced Materials Research for Innovative Sustainability), focuses on advanced functional materials for photocatalysis, pollutant removal, resource recovery, and sustainable environmental remediation.
