Zhiwei Wang

Zhiwei Wang is dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University, China. His research interests are in the field of wastewater treatment and reclamation using physical-chemical and biological technologies. He is particularly interested in the membrane-based processes for wastewater treatment and energy/resource recovery. Professor Wang served as chair of the International Water Association (IWA) China Young Water Professionals, currently an IWA Fellow, a member of Management Committee of IWA Specialist Group on Membrane Technology, Executive Management Committee of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, and vice director of Young Scientists Committee of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences. He also serves on the editorial boards of several journals including the Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, Environmental Research, Fundamental Research (NSFC), and Scientific Reports and Environmental Engineering (Chinese Journal). He has authored/co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed papers in SCI-indexed journals.

Ruobin Dai

Ruobin Dai is an assistant professor in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University, China. His current research focuses on membrane-based wastewater treatment and resource recovery. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals including Science Advance, Environmental Science & Technology (Letters), Water Research, etc. His research works have been presented in various international conferences, including 12th International Congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes, 5th International Conference on Desalination using Membrane Technology, etc. He holds nearly 20 national invention patents related to water/wastewater treatment, and some of these patents were applied in several wastewater treatment plants. He is a member of IWA-China Young Water Professionals and editorial board member of Chinese Chemical Letters.

Xuesong Li

Xuesong Li is an associate professor in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University, China. He is interested in developing cutting-edge membrane technologies for wastewater/water treatment and pioneering work on aquaporin-based biomimetic membranes which promotes successful commercialization of aquaporin inside membranes. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier journals including Science Advance, Environmental Science & Technology, Water Research, etc. He is also a member of IWA-China Young Water Professionals and editorial board member of Journal of Hazardous Material Advances.
