Analytical Pharmacology covers a wide range of analytical methods, including PCR, flow cytometry, molecular imaging, and gene editing, in the context of mechanistic studies, target discovery, biomarker development, drug metabolism, and clinical evaluation. The comprehensive scope and emphasis on emerging technologies make it a valuable resource for researchers seeking to understand how analytical tools are applied to solve key scientific problems in pharmacology and toxicology. Pharmaceutical industry specialists, including quality control analysts, regulatory affairs specialists and pharmaceutical technicians, will find value in understanding how modern analytical techniques can enhance drug quality assessment and compliance with regulatory requirements. For all readers interested in practical applications there are detailed descriptions of analytical techniques and validation methods. Case studies are used throughout to enrich theory and practical application.
The book offers research and academic readers detailed information on the emerging technologies of spatial transcriptomics and spatial omics, supporting their application in research studies and teaching
